School of Digital, Technologies and Arts

I’m a Lecturer on the Concept Art for Games and Film course having previously worked as a freelance Concept Artist and Illustrator for various clients on projects such as video games, film, branding and trading card games.

After starting a course to becoming a Forensic Scientist I decided that it wasn’t for me and set out on my journey to become a Concept Artist. Upon completing my BA Hons Degree in Illustration I knew I wanted to work for myself so I built my own brand and began freelancing for a few years, I began to work more towards becoming a Concept Artist in the video games industry working for clients such as Creative Assembly, Feral Interactive, X-Gamer, Legend Story Studios and being published in Imagine FX magazine.

After having an amazing time freelancing I now teach here at Staffordshire University across a range of modules such as Characters, Environments and Collaborative projects where I have a passion for indie games and bringing ideas to life.
