Digital Curriculum Designer

Academic Quality and Development

I'm a former mathematics teacher with a Chemical Engineering degree and a master’s in Education. I have always had a passion for developing learning and assessment resources to improve engagement and accessibility. I have taught in both Secondary and Further Education, most recently at Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College. Teaching through the pandemic, I experienced first-hand the need to innovate and integrate technology into the curriculum, and saw how this improved both the learning and teaching experience when done thoughtfully and appropriately. I also have 12 years' experience in educational publishing, developing print and digital teaching and learning tools and resources across a range of different subjects. In my most recent publishing role, I branched out into tech advice too, managing an online library of articles on everyday tech alongside a weekly advice blog.
