About Me

I have been teaching at the University for over 20 years and have held a range of responsibilities including Level Tutor, Module and Award Leader and Scheme Leader.  Subject-wise my teaching expertise lies in the areas of exercise psychology and on how skilled behaviour is acquired in sport. During the past 10 the focus of my teaching has been on appropriate adoption of technology supported learning to improve the student learning experience. In this regard I led our move in September 2005 to an online model of delivery for postgraduate taught provision in Sport & Exercise including MSc. awards in sport & exercise science and sport & exercise psychology.  More recently I have been involved developing curricula and technology based solutions to support  the delivery of the ‘Staffordshire Graduate’ to our undergraduate students.
