A Disabled Student Allowances (DSA) Study Needs Assessment is a discussion between you and one of our Assessors about your study methods and how these relate to your chosen course of study.
We will match you with the most suitable Assessor available for your disability.
We aim to recommend a package of support that helps you as an individual achieve your potential.
You do not need to bring anything with you to the appointment unless specifically instructed.
You should allow about two hours for the appointment.
The Assessor will ask you about disability-related difficulties that affect your studies.
The Assessor may show you some software and other technology but you will not have to do any tests.
The Assessor will take notes to draft a report for you.
