Workshops and Groups

The Student Wellbeing team are offering three different workshops for students at Stoke during November 2019.

To book a place on any of these workshops, click on the link for the workshop you would like to attend and this will take you to the Eventbrite booking page.

Workshops will be informal in style, involving some presentation of information by the workshop facilitator (who will be one of the Counsellors from the Student Wellbeing team.)  There will usually be a small group of students participating.

We are using 'Eventbrite' for booking onto these workshops.  Just to confirm: all our workshops are free!  You simply need to book yourself a place if you would like to attend.  Our workshops are not 'public' on Eventbrite web pages, so you will not be able to search for a workshop on the Eventbrite web pages - you can only book a place via these web pages.  You only need to give your name and an email address when registering.  But if you have any concerns about privacy of your information, please visit Eventbrite .  (You can, of course, choose to delete your details from Eventbrite after you have attended the workshop, if you would like to.)

The three workshops are:

Building Confidence and self-esteem
Learn how to feel more confident and positive about yourself.

Managing Anxiety and Panic Attacks
Understand your own anxiety better and learn about self-help strategies to help manage anxiety and panic attacks.

Find out about Mindfulness and how it can help develop a clearer and calmer mind and body.

If you have any problems booking a place using the system, or have any other queries, please contact our admin team by email at or by phone on 01782 294976.
