Guide to Thompson Library
In collaboration with Staffordshire University’s AccessAbility Services, the library has produced an Accessible Guide to the Thompson Library (PDF, file size: 3.08MB) .
The guide has been written for anyone who may feel daunted or anxious about coming into the library. It also highlights aspects of the buildings that may be challenging for students on the autistic spectrum.
Location of Law Books
Library resources for Undergraduate Law students are now located within the Thompson Library.
Text books and other resources are available on the ground floor Core Collection. Law materials are classified between 340 and 349 so the collection is kept tightly together (reference materials and pamphlets are alongside loanable materials) and there are lots of study spaces nearby.
Law reports, statutes and encyclopaedic works are available in the Thompson Book Store which is accessed beyond the Main Collection, again this is on the ground floor. All Law periodicals can be found in the Thompson Bookstore too.
We have created a leaflet to help you locate these resources: Location of Law books in Thompson Library (PDF, file size: 458.6KB)
