Library Help Desk Services

Our promise to you:-

  • Our staff will be available at the service points during staffed hours.

  • If your enquiry cannot be answered by the desk staff, you will be referred to a librarian who will be available Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. During these hours you will be able to talk to a librarian immediately.

  • Outside of these hours we will make an appointment for you to meet with a librarian within 1 working day of your request.

  • Our electronic helpdesk is available 24/7.


What can we do for you:

Our Help Desks provide customers with advice and support on all aspects of library services, including: library stock (paper-based and online), e-resources (databases, e-journals and e-books), information research skills support, information relating to external information sources and information management (i.e. licences and copyright).

Staff, students and external customers.
