Student Guidance

We have a team of friendly, approachable Student Guidance Advisors who can help you with any problems or questions you may have whilst studying at Staffordshire University.

You can talk to us about anything; whether it is a personal problem or an academic issue. We offer quality advice and guidance to you across a very broad range of issues including: exceptional circumstances, academic rules & regulations, appeals, processes in the student lifecycle (withdrawal, break in studies etc), student welfare, student attendance, finance issues (including financial hardship), learning contracts, and much more.

We also offer advice to students who are estranged from their families or are care leavers.

Stoke Campus:
Student Guidance Advisors are available at the Student Hub (Sciences Building) for 30-minute bookable on-the-day appointments via the Student Hub Advisors:
Monday – Friday 09:30a.m. – 4p.m.

Alternatively, staff and students can now book a 45-minute appointment with a specific advisor and we also offer late appointments every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  (Late appointments term time only.)

Student Guidance Room: BL016 (Ground Floor)
Ann G available every Monday 9:30 – 5p.m.

Centre of Excellence, Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, Shrewsbury Campus:
Shrewsbury is covered by Ann C or Rachel every Wednesday or alternatively please email the team support@staffs.ac.uk
