The Student Advice Team can provide information and support to students on areas including but not limited to:
- Disability support (e.g. DSA, LSF)
- Diagnostic assessment for SpLDs
- Student Inclusion Plan and reasonable adjustments

Student Advisor Appointments
Appointments can take place in the Science Centre on the Leek Road in Stoke, via telephone or Microsoft Teams. Teams and telephone appointments are available every weekday. In person appointments (Science Centre, Leek Road) are available on certain days only. Please note that demand for appointments can be particularly high at the start of the academic year and assessment time.

Important: If you cannot make your appointment, please cancel or reschedule by using the booking confirmation. This will allow students waiting for appointments to book sooner.
Partnership students - If you are a partnership student, please contact the disability service at your college for advice and support.
Apprenticeship students - if you are an apprenticeship student, please ensure you have received your student number at the time of the appointment or book in advance for your course start date. This will ensure you will get the most out of your appointment. If you have any queries, please contact the Student Life (Advice) team via the University's Solve portal.
