Plan your Open Day visit

How to get to London Campus

The Open Day registration point is in Fabric Factory Entrance D. The London Campus is based at the Here East complex.

Campus is well connected to local, and regional transport links. All visitors are encouraged to take advantage of public transport to reduce emissions and congestion on campus.

Underground

If you're travelling by London Underground, head to Stratford station.

Bus to campus

On weekends, bus stop X to catch the 388 bus to Copper Box Arena, alighting at bus stop M. From there, it’s a short walk to the Open Day registration point.

Monday through Friday, a free shuttle service departs from Stratford City at bus stop X, taking about five minutes to reach Here East.

For any assistance, look for our student ambassadors in red uniforms stationed around the London (Here East) campus to help guide you.

Walk to campus

If you’re arriving at Stratford underground station, it takes around 15 to 20 minutes to walk to campus.

Use the postcode E20 3BS on Google Maps.

You can also walk here in under 10 minutes if you arrive at Hackney Wick.

Overground

If you're travelling by London Overground, the nearest stop is Hackney Wick. After exiting the station, turn left and go through the underpass. At the end of the road, turn right, cross the bridge over the canal and Hackney Bridge, and then take a final right onto the Here East campus.

Follow the Open Day signs directing you to the entrance of Fabric Factory D.

Car

University of Staffordshire London has fast links to Central London and the south and east of England, with easy access to the A11, A12, A13, A102, A406, M11 and M25 roads.

Parking

Once you’re here, the closest car park is located at Westfield Stratford City. This car park has around 4,500 parking spaces in three car parks over 15 levels. All of the car parks have easy access to the campus via the free shuttle bus, which operates from Stratford International station's bus stop E.

Can my parents and supporters come to Open Days?

Parents and supporters are welcome to attend. We offer a dedicated drop in activity where they can learn about key timelines and application steps, how to prepare for university, and tips on commuting or finding accommodation nearby. They’ll also gain insight into how we support student safety and wellbeing and meet students’ unique needs.

What should I wear to an Open Day?

Choose comfy, casual clothes and shoes as you’ll be walking between talks. Check the weather forecast a few days before and dress for the conditions as you'll probably be going outside to check out the local area. Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel confident and comfortable. What you wear won’t affect your university application, so no pressure!

Do I need to book onto an Open Day to attend?

Yes, booking is essential. When you book, we’ll send you an online programme before the event so you can plan your day and secure your place in popular sessions like subject immersions and student life talks.

How do I make the most of an Open Day?

Top tips for making the most of your Open Day

Plan your sessions in advance. Use the online programme we’ll email before the event to decide which talks and activities you want to attend. Prioritise the sessions that matter most to you.
Tell us about any special requirements or disabilities. If you have any special requirements or disabilities, contact us ahead of time so we can make sure everything is ready for you.
Prepare your questions. Make a checklist of questions for lecturers, current students, and support staff to get the answers you need.
Think about who to bring. Bringing a parent or supporter can be really helpful. We run dedicated sessions for them, offering tips on how they can support you through your university journey.
Explore the campus. Take a guided tour led by our student ambassadors and experience campus life through their lived experience.
