Once you have completed your studies with University of Staffordshire, you will receive an automated email to notify you of the date when your IT account will be closed. Graduating students receive 3 months grace before access to all systems is removed.
If you have not already, please take steps to provide alternative contact details to your contacts. Backup any files stored in your OneDrive or email messages that you wish to retain. You may wish to back up your data to your own cloud storage, personal computer, or portable storage device.
If you are planning to return (e.g. on a postgraduate course) for the next academic year or beyond, we still advise that you back up your data as you could be issued with a new account on your return.
Although your IT account will be closing, University of Staffordshire offers you unique lifetime Careers support and you can continue to access the Careers Portal and Handshake if you register with your personal email. In addition, our Graduate Team can help you in finding a suitable graduate job, transitioning into Postgraduate/Masters or setting up your own business. If you don’t know where to start, that’s fine too. We have internal paid graduate internships also available after you graduate to get you started.
