It's vital that you enrol online before the academic year starts. This process only takes 15 minutes and can be completed through our e:Vision portal. Following the link below will take you to our enrolment hub where you can find the answers to any questions you may have.

Both new and returning students need to complete this step to continue their studies into the new academic year.

Welcome week

Welcome Week will start week commencing Monday 22 September for all students.

During this first week of your studies, you will be provided with various information about your course, the university and it’s services as well as meeting academic staff, your tutor and your peers.

There will also be lots of activities taking place on campus for you to get involved with and an opportunity to join any Students’ Union groups and teams that you wish.

The Academic Skills team offers a series of online workshops to prepare you for starting university. The workshops include improving academic skills, planning your work, using technology and finding information and referencing it.

Subject guides

Subject guides have been created for each subject area to pull together recommended resources and research tips to help you undertake your studies and complete your assignments.

Get digitally ready

Explore the digital tools you'll use throughout your university studies, such as Blackboard, Microsoft 365, and other key platforms that support you through University.

Staffordshire EDGE

Staffordshire EDGE is a sector leading events programme that offers you the opportunity to develop multiple skill sets as well as knowledge and experience in civic engagement and sustainability.

Start at Staffs

You'll soon have access to the ‘Start at Staffs’ learning package which is designed to give you a head start in preparing for university. It isn’t compulsory, but we recommend you look through as it’s filled with lots of useful information, from connecting to Wi-Fi and applications you will be using, to preparing for your first assignment, and also includes information on support teams who can help you make the most of your university experience.

Student Loan Tracker

One of the most frequently asked questions by new students, studying on campus, is 'When will I receive my student loan?'

We understand that this is important to you, and that the answer to the question relies on a few factors. So, to help you, we’ve created a tracker tool which will take you step by step through the conditions to be met, but you will still need to check your loan application has been approved by Student Finance.

This should be used in conjunction with your Student Loan application with Student Finance. This is about the maintenance loan payment you will receive to help you with your living costs.
If you are an undergraduate student, you will need to apply for a loan every year.
If you are returning from a break in study, you will need to reapply for your loan.

It’s modern, clean and feels safe

I really enjoy the surrounding area of University of Staffordshire London. It’s modern, clean and feels safe. Just outside the University, Canalside has a variety of bars, restaurants and a retro-gaming bar where you can play classic video games while you eat and drink. Olympic Park is great for walks, especially early in the morning when it is quiet and peaceful.
