Staffordshire University has released a new webinar series aimed at helping families understand more about Clearing and the courses available.

These webinars cover support towards the cost of living and the value of a degree as well as subject specific talks on the University’s next generation such as computing degrees.

The webinars are a popular addition to Clearing operations at Staffordshire University with a view to helping students who will be receiving their results next Thursday 17th August.

Following on from results day, Staffordshire University is also hosting a Level of Detail Clearing Live event where the University’s games academics will team up with a student ambassador to play The Sims 4 Discover University at the same time as taking questions about Clearing and the University experience.

Head of Recruitment and Outreach, Sammy Engele, said: “Clearing is a great opportunity for students to find a place to study that is right for them, even if they have not received any offers from their chosen universities. It is simply a way for students to find a place to study that they are happy with. So, if you are not happy with your current offers, or if you have not received any offers at all, do not hesitate to use Clearing. It could be the best decision you ever make.”

The University is inviting prospective students and their parents or carers to find out more about Staffordshire University London by booking onto a campus tour taking place at the Digital Institute in Stratford on Saturday 19 August at 9am and 1pm.

Students can also get more information about the University’s courses and facilities, and talk through their options at the Open Day which takes place on Saturday 14 October.

Sammy added: "Our team at Staffordshire University London is committed to providing our students with a world-class education that will help them achieve their future goals.
