Student life

At University of Staffordshire you'll discover a friendly, supportive and accessible environment that is big on personality and full of character. We are a diverse and inclusive, uplifting, empowering community that encourages you to be you.

Your new home

Whether you live on or off campus or commute, we want you to feel safe, comfortable and at home. We guarantee a room in our accommodation (or that of a trusted third party) to all first year students who apply and make us their firm choice.

Our halls of residence cater to various living styles and amenities, including accessible and single rooms or shared flats. Campuses have 24/7 security, and our dedicated Residence Life team organise activities throughout the year.

Money guidance

University of Staffordshire believes university should be accessible to all learners, from all walks of life, no matter their financial situation.

To help you apply for the correct funding, and stay on top of your finances while you study, we've created comprehensive guides to everything you need to know about applying for student finance, accessing financial support as a disabled student, or student parent, and how best to budget for university.

Cost of living support

We are committed to reducing the hardship caused by the current rise in the cost of living. We have introduced a wide range of initiatives to support our students including subsidised food options, free period products, and support for those experiencing digital poverty.
