Design and record your own experiments in our £30m Science Centre

Take part in hands-on and hyper-real psychology research using cutting-edge spaces, tools and tech in our £30m Science Centre and with support from experienced practitioners.

At University of Staffordshire, you learn about psychology as it applies to everyday life – whether devising your own lab tests, assisting staff with real-life research projects, or on placement. This commitment to producing world-ready graduates is one of the many reasons behind our successful track record for student satisfaction.

We offer four different degree paths – PsychologyPsychology and Counselling; Psychology and Child Development; and Forensic and Criminological Psychology. Our established degrees are accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a broad range of optional modules enables you to personalise your learning. You can specialise in your chosen field and broaden your knowledge in specific areas of interest.

Based within the School of Health, Education, Policing and Sciences, we champion digital innovation through our cutting-edge simulation and immersive technologies. Take our driving simulator, for example, which lets you monitor impact on attention and response times when someone takes a phone call or reads a text message.
