UCAS makes sure your application is complete and your payment has gone through.
You’ll get an email confirming your application has been sent to your chosen universities.

Universities receive your application
Each university you applied to gets your form and begins reviewing it. They'll consider your personal statement, your reference and your predicted grades.

You may be asked to attend an interview or submit your portfolio
Depending on the subject, you may need to attend an interview online or in-person or showcase your portfolio.

Universities make their decisions
You'll be updated on the UCAS hub and notified by email with the outcome of your offers.
