Tuition fees for Home and distance learning students vary and are set in bands depending on the facilities and resources required. For specific fee information, please check our individual course pages and click on the fees tab.

Tuition fees for part-time students are charged pro-rata to the full-time fee and calculated on the number of credits taken per year.

Research postgraduate programmes

Research degree fees for Home and distance learning students are set in line with UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) rates. For some courses, you may have to pay additional study costs to cover facilities and equipment. A pro-rata fee is charged to part-time students.

*UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) rates have not yet been confirmed for academic year 2024/25. The figures in the table below are for illustrative purposes only and subject to change once RCUK agree and publish the UKRI rate.
