Staffordshire University has an outstanding reputation in developing and delivering computing courses - you'll get the key skills you need to be in high demand in your future career

If you want to get a head start on a career in next level technologies, you’re in the right place. We offer courses specially adapted to giving our students foundational, advanced and specialist skill sets to make them ultra-employable in competitive computer science environments including cyber security, cloud technologies, internet and web development, network computing, and software development.

Studying one of our computing courses means you'll have access to that latest software, expert facilities, and knowledgeable lecturers. We also have strong industry links with the likes of Cisco, Microsoft, Amazon, Airbus and Juniper. This ensures that our courses stay relevant, and you're in demand when you graduate with the opportunity to complete additional industry qualifications while you're here.

Our degrees are accredited by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and on our computer science course you could take a specialist pathway, which would tailor the modules you take in your second and third year to focus on an area that you are passionate about, or want to base your future career around. As well as other benefits, on successful completion of one of our computing degrees you will have demonstrated the education requirements to be eligible for the professional registration as a Chartered IT Professional (CITP).
