Life beyond lectures

Clubs, societies and networks

If you have a specialist interest or you’re just curious to try something new – you’re sure to find a club, society or network to join.

At our Stafford campus, you can get involved in health care societies and clubs where you can meet linkeminded students no matter their age, background or stage in the course.

Further afield, at our Stoke campus, you can get involved in sports clubs, religious and cultural societies and networks to meet the needs of all students.

Sport

For some of our students, sport is the backbone of their university experience. Whether you’re representing the University in the weekly British University & College Sports League or keeping your mind and body fit with a casual game of your favourite sport.

University sport takes place at our Stoke campus, however, in Stafford there are indoor and outdoor sporting facilities at the Beacon Sports Centre where you can take out a membership.

The local area

You can head into nearby Stafford town centre for a mix of high street and independent shops, eateries, bars, live music venues and theatres.
