Our stylish new Student Village opens in 2026 – and you could be one of the first residents.

Arranged in blocks of cluster flats and apartments, with some studios also available, our Student Village is at the heart of our Stoke-on-Trent campus. You’ll be living close to all the social spots, cafes and green spaces, with a scenic stroll to lectures across a footbridge. You will be able to move around easily, using the lifts in the Hub and cluster flat blocks to get step-free, level access to all parts of the Village.

Our Student Village is within walking distance of Stoke-on-Trent train station and the £60m Goods Yard development, featuring cafes, entertainment and social spaces.

Village life

The Village Hub is designed around you with comfy spaces to catch up with friends, study zones, a rooftop terrace, and it’s where you’ll find our ResLife accommodation team.

Connected, safe and secure

The Student Village will be covered by Wi-Fi and there is 24/7 security, with a SafeZone app for emergencies, CCTV and access to rooms and communal areas via programmable key cards or mobile credentials.

Our stylish apartment blocks and townhouses overlook our scenic nature reserve and green spaces. With 1,000 rooms to choose from - you’ll have a wide range of choice to suit your lifestyle and budget.You’ll have your own ensuite bedroom, along with a shared kitchen and comfy sitting area. Whether you’re looking for a sociable flat, a townhouse with a homely feel or a private studio, we have something that meets your needs.

Social spaces, wellbeing activities and support

Our Village Hub is your place, with flexible spaces for events, comfy seating for relaxing with friends and a rooftop terrace to enjoy the views. There’s a hall and multi-functional space for hosting a variety of pop-up events, personal study areas, a prayer space and a base for student services. From makers’ markets to student exhibitions, it's the ideal place to showcase your projects.

Sense of community

Living at the heart of our student community on campus, it's a great way to make new friends and get involved in student life. You can relax, socialise and find your own personal space. You’ll also have a scenic walk to lectures, with an convenient footbridge connecting the accommodation with our main Leek Road buildings. Our Res Life team will help you settle in – whether you just want a chat or some support and guidance, they are ready to listen.

Student Village accommodation options

If you’re looking to join us in September 2026 you can make our new Student Village your new home. All rooms have an ensuite bathroom. We also offer premium rooms if you want a larger area to personalise your space, and studio rooms if you want your own living area and kitchenette.

Accommodation for students starting in January 2026

Students joining us late 2025/26 or in January 2026 will be able choose a room in our current halls of residence. Our rooms offer a variety of living styles, amenities and scenic options.

Your licence agreement

When you accept your offer of University accommodation, you will be subject to a legally binding contract with the University. This is called the Accommodation Licence Agreement.

Please ensure that the you read the licence agreement fully and carefully. Licence agreement terms will be considered as accepted by the Licensee on receipt of your room keys and moving into the accommodation.
