What to expect

This is your opportunity to build your own tour at a time and date that suits you!

The walking tours are designed to give a general overview of the campus. You will be taken on your tour by a current Staffordshire University student ambassador, and they are experienced in handling questions about life on campus and studying at the university more broadly.

On our Stoke Campus Tours we are also offering the opportunity to see an example of our on-campus accommodation which will last approximately 30 minutes and get any questions you may have answered.

On all campus tours, we are also giving you the opportunity to speak to a lecturer from your chosen subject area and these experts will be able to give you further insight into the course and answer any questions you may have.

If you would like to take advantage of these opportunities, just select these options on your booking form. If you would like to speak to any other services on your visit, please let us know on the form and we will do all that we can to make this happen.

Taking a tour of the campus with our students is a unique experience. They represent the brilliant and friendly Staffordshire University value and you are guaranteed a relaxed tour, with plenty of opportunities to ask any burning questions that you may have.

Our campus

We are offering campus tours at both our Stoke-on-Trent city campus and our Centre of Excellence in Stafford with students who know all the ins and outs of life at Staffordshire University, they have walked the corridors, and have first-hand experience of using the state-of-the-art facilities.

Our location

The University is well connected by rail and road, and our two main campuses are very close to the town centre. Plus, our students will be happy to point you in the direction of some of the local areas of interest, so when you begin your Staffordshire University journey, you’ll have a heads up on where to go!

You can request a campus tour through our booking form. Once we have received your booking and made the arrangements, we will email you with a full schedule for the day, including meeting points, directions and parking information. Important information

  • Campus tours experience will last approximately two hours.
  • You can bring guests along with you to accompany you on your visit.
  • These arrangements are based on any times between 9am-4pm, Monday to Friday. Any requests outside of these times we cannot guarantee will be fulfilled.
  • The university is well connected by rail and road, and our two main campuses are very close to the town centre. Visit our visiting and travel information page to find out more.
  • Parking is available on campus, although restrictions do apply. As part of the booking form, if you are planning to park on campus you will need to let us know your vehicle registration number so we can ensure you are registered on the system and can park for free.
