Psychology Observation Suite

The Psychology Observation Suite is used to observe various forms of human behaviour in psychological research.

The observation suite allows us to observe human behaviour in a more natural manner, by removing the researcher from the room but still allowing for observation of the participant’s behaviour through a one-way mirror and camera system. From room R310, the participants can see a mirror, but from the control room the researcher can see through the glass to observe the behaviour of their participants. There is also a camera system in place to facilitate recordings of research studies to allow further analysis of the behaviours displayed. In addition to observational research, this suite can also facilitate Virtual Reality based research.
