Our main city campus is in Stoke-on-Trent. We also have two Centres of Excellence in Healthcare Education, located in Stafford and Shrewsbury.
Our Stoke-on-Trent campus is based on two sites just a few minutes’ walk apart. The Leek Road site is home to the Science Centre as well as our law, business and sports spaces. The College Road site is where you’ll find our computing, creative arts and engineering facilities.
Conveniently situated within 2 minutes’ walk of Stoke-on-Trent railway station, the campus is served by frequent direct services from national rail operators. We are 35 minutes by train from Manchester and 45 minutes from Birmingham. You can reach us from London in 90 minutes.
You can use National Rail Enquiries to plan your train journey.
Both our College Road and Leek Road sites have excellent bus links with the city centre and wider area. The Traveline site is useful for planning your bus journey.
National Express coaches stop in front of the Beacon Building for direct travel to Birmingham, Manchester Airport, Manchester and Scotland. More services are available from Hanley bus station, just over a mile away.
Our Stoke-on-Trent campus is within easy reach of the M6 motorway, A50 and A34 if you’re travelling by car.
These postcodes will take you to our buildings but not directly to the site entrances. Please note they are for guidance only.
Car parking at our College Road site is limited, but there are usually spaces available on the Leek Road car park 10 minutes' walk away. You will need a car parking permit, which you should request in advance. The person or department you are visiting should be able to arrange this for you.
On open days you can park without a permit.
Being in the centre of the UK, we are within easy reach of a number of airports.
Manchester Airport is 50 minutes by car or 75 minutes by train. East Midlands Airport is around 55 minutes’ drive. Birmingham Airport is approximately 60 minutes away by car, as is Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
