Stoke-on-Trent sits within the county of Staffordshire, which offers some great attractions for every age and interest. If you're the active type, you can experience Staffordshire from the treetops at Aerial Extreme. Ascend Awesome Walls. Dive in at Waterworld and chase thrills at Alton Towers. Nature lovers will enjoy the Monkey Forest and gardens at The Trentham Estate, plus the Peak District is only an hour away by car and craft enthusiasts can become an honorary potter at Emma Bridgewater. There's plenty to do in Staffordshire but don't forget that we're in the middle of things here and with a train station on your doorstep, you can explore the rest of the UK too.
Each summer the most popular musicians take over Staffordshire. Calvin Harris, Sam Smith and Ellie Goulding have all created unforgettable weekends at V Festival in the last few years. And, the best part, it's held just 40-minutes away at Weston Park. The Sugarmill and The Underground are also great local music venues and Staffordshire offers plenty of town centre music and food festivals. For the cultural type, the Regent Theatre and Victoria Hall boast great shows all year round. Our own Bet365 Stadium hosts Premier League Football in the city. Home to Stoke City Football Club, the stadium holds 28,000 people. Plenty of room for you to join the terraces to roar on 'The Potters'.
