If you're looking to secure a place for this September, Clearing is for you. Clearing is a way to find a university place if you don’t already have one. Whether you’ve changed your mind about where or what to study, have received unexpected results in your exams, or have just started thinking about university, we’re here to help.

UCAS Clearing key dates 2025

 

5 July

Clearing opens for all students to call up and discuss their options with us. If you already have your grades, you can submit an application at this stage.

14 August

Results day for the majority of students, including A-Level and BTEC students – you’re now able to apply with us through the Clearing process.

4 October

Clearing closes in early October, but many of our courses fill up before then, so reach out to our team in good time to secure your place.

I applied through clearing because I made a late decision about whether I wanted to go to university. The clearing experience was fantastic. I spoke with a helpful student ambassador who guided me through it. One of my proudest achievements so far has been becoming a committee member for the LGBTQ network and Myth Society.
