Hi, I’m Vahid and I’m the course leader for the BSc (Hons) Cyber Security course.

With experience teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, I specialise in areas such as computing science, communication networks and cyber security. With a research portfolio spanning high‑profile publications in IEEE, Elsevier and ZTE, my work explores internet protocols and architectures, network forensics, IoT security and broader cyber security challenges.

My background also includes research with the Institute for Communication Systems at the University of Surrey and industry collaboration with Airbus Group. It's this experience and best practice that ensures our course is aligned with real-world demands, equipping you with the skills needed for a successful career in the field.
