Menstrual Health & Wellbeing Campaign
Menstrual health is a vital part of student wellbeing. Whether you menstruate or support someone who does, this page is here to help you understand, access, and advocate for menstrual health resources on campus.
What is Menstrual Health?
Menstrual health goes beyond “that time of the month.” It includes:
- Understanding your cycle
- Managing symptoms like cramps, mood changes, and fatigue
- Accessing the right products and care
- Knowing when to seek medical help

Menstrual Equity on Campus
No one should miss class or feel ashamed because of their period.
Our campus is committed to menstrual equity, which means:
- Free pads and tampons in all buildings across campuses at Stoke, Stafford and London and Students’ Union venues
- Signposting to healthcare and support services
- Inclusive policies for all who menstruate
Need support Contact- Women's health - NHS/ GP/ student advice team- financial support/ inclusion for support.
Inclusive and Gender-Aware
Not all people who menstruate are women. Trans men, non-binary, and gender-diverse people may also experience periods.
We use gender-inclusive language and offer:
- Products in all-gender restrooms
- Safe spaces for everyone to access care without stigma
