Chancellors

The honorary position of Chancellor was created when we gained university status in 1992.

The role of Chancellor of Staffordshire University is representative, ceremonial and ambassadorial. The position has no formal powers or responsibilities when it comes to the governance and management of the University.

Our current Chancellor is The Lord Stafford DL FRAgS, who was inaugurated during the University's centenary celebrations in July 2014.
