Green House Gas (GHG) emissions are at their highest level in history, weather patterns are changing, sea levels are rising, and fluctuation in weather events are more extreme. These alarming effects of climate change have prompted scientists and politicians around the globe to look for solutions. 

Hamidreza Gohari Darabkhani, Professor of Low Carbon and Renewable Energy Systems, has 18 years of industrial and academic experience in Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technologies, Renewable Energy systems, and Energy conversion efficiency improvement strategies.

In this lecture, Hamidreza discusses his pioneering research into low carbon and renewable energy technologies and explains how this could help to save our planet - if we all act quickly!
