Keith Brymer Jones

Show and Tell 2018 will be officially opened by Keith Brymer Jones.

Keith is an expert ceramicist and has appeared as a judge on BBC2’s The Great Pottery Throw Down.

Keith discovered clay at secondary school, he loved the malleability of clay and the escapism that he felt manipulating it and knew he wanted to be a potter! On completing school, Keith advertised for an apprenticeship in Ceramic Review magazine and got his first job as a clay boy in Harefield Pottery.

After five years Keith opened his own studio and at one point was making 1000 pots in one day and fulfilling orders of up to 16,000 pieces by hand. In 2008, Keith became a Director and Head of Design at MAKE International setting up a new studio in Whitstable where he still works today.
