Workshops and Groups

We recorded an exam stress workshop earlier in the year you can watch it back here.

The North Staffs Mind 'BE EXCELLENT TO EACH OTHER' group runs on the Stoke Leek Road Campus in the Ashley 1 Building every Wednesday evening from 6pm-8pm. It is a men's only group run by two qualified BACP counsellors, Shane and Jason, that aims to tackle men's mental health. Men can be reluctant seek out formal support, they are prone to social isolation and the statistics for male suicides are very frightening. The group is open to all men aged 18+. It’s free to attend, there are no referrals and no waiting lists. Find out more at NorthStaffsMind.

CHANGES continue to offer a variety of workshops and groups online at Changeshere4U.

TOGETHERALL offers a range of resources and support, including online courses that you can work through at your own pace. You can find these at Togetherall, which is available to all Staffordshire University students.

You can find information about these and other services, on our other sources of support page and emergency and 24 hour support. A variety of resources can also be found on our Self-help page.

WRAP is an optional wellbeing programme to promote healthier universities. WRAP is currently available to paramedic students but is being systematically rolled out across the whole University, so should be coming to your department soon. Want to find out more ?  Work, Relax and Play (WRAP) (
