Stoke House (House 33), provides a real-life simulation environment in support of all practical scenarios within the portfolio of Nursing, Paramedic Science and Social Work awards. As this is a fully functioning domestic dwelling, various scenarios for different modules can be set up, ranging from Social Worker home visit, through to a major incident, where multiple services are required to attend. The facility offers users a real-life feel for any given scenario. This facility is also used by local Sixth Form Colleges, who use the facility as a training venue for their students to perform a home Risk Assessment of a client.
