Carbon Reduction

Scope 3

The vision for this plan is that the University is seen by individuals and organisations in the community as a leader in improving the environmental sustainability of the region. The University is a major collaborator on regional sustainability projects.

The University has created a Carbon Reduction Plan for Scope 3.  The Plan sets out three main difficulties associated with Scope 3.  These are measurement, scale and the underlying nature of the University’s business.  The plan sets out the actions which the University will take in order to reduce Scope 3 emissions.

This plan is lead by:

  • Sally McGill, Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Chief Exec and Exec Lead for Sustainability

  • Dr Laura Rhodes, Sustainability Engineer
