31 March 201030 April 201012 April 2010I would like details of all expenses claims submitted by academics relating to foreign academic trips in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Could you please include the name of the academic concerned, the destination of the trip and the reason for travelThe search to one year it would still take us as long to produce the data. We have a separate expense code which records overseas travel which we would have to analyse in the first instance to see which members of staff were Academic. This in itself is a huge job due to the number of trips abroad for student recruitment, award validations, awards ceremonies etc and also conferences. Once we had identified the Academic staff claims we would then need to produce a spreadsheet containing the required analysis. Then we would have to photocopy all the claims to send with the analysis. As this is all a manual process it would be very time consuming.

If you still require the information, I will calculate the cost and send a quote.
