7 August 20106 September 201017 August 2010The number of international students (i.e. Non EU) at your institution that have disappeared after gaining a Student Visa. This can happen in one of two major ways:

1) Cases where students have quit midway through their course and then not informed you. (this could be found by looking at the numbers that didn't enrol for their next term/year etc but didn't tell you)

2) This would also include instances where somebody has gained at place at your university, therefore allowing them the documentation for a student visa, but never actually started.

I would the total number over the last three years, broken down by year.
Question 1 is not maintained or separated from withdrawals we are aware of so we dont hold this information in the format you requested.

Question 2 the University has only been monitoring this for 09-10 due to the new tier 4 regulations so in 09-10 we had 105. No figures before this session as the University did not monitor it.
