Please find our response to your request below;

1) We do not record this information. We do not record data by number of nursing and medical students.

2) We do not record this information and are not aware that any of our students would be classed as "medical"

3) For the academic year 2015/16, 561 students booked at least one counselling appointment

4) We do not record the number of nursing students

5) We do not record the number of medical students

6) We currently employ 5 Counselling staff (including Head of Service) , of these, 1 is full-time and 4 are part-time. Our current on campus student population is 7,793 Full time students and 4,465 part time students.

1) Please disclose the number of hours of scheduled learning and teaching activities that were delivered at your institution during the academic year 2015/16. Scheduled teaching and learning activities should be understood to be as defined by HESA.

2) Please disclose the number of hours of scheduled learning and teaching activities that were delivered by hourly paid lecturing staff during the academic year 2015/16.

For the avoidance of doubt hourly paid teaching staff should be understood to include, hourly paid lecturers who are not otherwise engaged in study and PhD students who teach or demonstrate.

Where possible, please set out the information as below:

This request is made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
We have reviewed your request for information and can confirm that we are unable to provide a complete breakdown of the information you have requested. However, we can advise that an approximate figure of 19.3% of time spent by students in scheduled learning and teaching activities.

Unfortunately, the same would apply to question two of your request. We cannot confirm who is running the activity based on the information available from our current working systems.

2) A list of the number of students who have been sanctioned by your university in academic year 2015/16 for breaching the codes of practice and/or bringing the university into disrepute through anti-social behaviour, what they were sanctioned for (i.e. Repeated noise complaints), and what the sanction involved (i.e. a fine - and if so, what amount - or removal from their course); and

Further to your request and having reviewed this within the Academic Regulations and Compliance Team, we can confirm that we have zero students that have been sactioned regards "anti-social behaviour" for 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17.

Storage heaters - both controls for overnight charge and heat output set to "6" regularly. No central control on any heating except for Wedgwood (on Delta BeMS). Gas-fired heating about 1/3 cost per kWh to use compared to electric.
