Verve

Verve is Stoke's newest venue offering students a great place to relax and enjoy freshly cooked food to order and the tastiest and creamiest milkshakes. Situated on Leek Road campus, it's just a stone's throw from all of the Halls of Residence, so students can pop in for food and drink any time of the day or evening.

Continuing this year with that American diner feel, Verve has developed its menu still further, introducing a variety of new burgers from around the world, a new breakfast menu, and its signature dish, Denver Fries.

To cut down on food miles, The Union has switched to a local butcher for its beef and lamb burgers. These are delivered fresh on a daily basis, travelling just 1.5 miles. Diners can also enjoy freshly prepared pizzas cooked in an authentic Italian pizza oven, tasty subs, with the rolls being sourced from a local bakery, healthy salads and delicious sundaes for dessert too, providing you with food to suit all tastes.

As a measure of its excellence, Verve and LRV in 2015, along with the Ember Lounge, received a GOLD award for Best Bar None, a nationally recognised competition in Students' Unions across the UK, ranking amongst the top five Unions in the country.

Verve is a great place to hang out and chill between lectures during the day and after lectures in the early evening. Then on our regular club nights during the week Verve provides a more relaxed environment away from the main room in LRV, and is open until the early hours!

Verve is also available for student hire. Any students, groups or societies looking to host socials, fund raisers, birthdays or entertainment events should contact the management team in the venue or via lrv@staffs.ac.uk

We hope you enjoy your experience with us at Verve, and we look forward to serving you.
