Whether you’re a new or returning student, you must complete the online enrolment. This will start you on the process to becoming an official Staffordshire University student.
When your course is ready for you to complete your enrolment, you will receive a separate email with your enrolment invitation. These invitations are being sent out over the course of late July and early August. Please make sure you keep checking your email account.
Once you have received your email providing you with a username and password, you need to visit e:VisionStaffs (our student portal) and follow the steps to complete online enrolment. Yes! All students starting a new programme of study are required to complete online enrolment.
During online enrolment you will be guided through a series of screens. You'll be asked to confirm your personal details, you'll find information about your tuition fees (if applicable) and you'll upload a photo for your Student ID Card.
You'll receive an email from us inviting you to enrol online. In this email we’ll provide you with your username and password. The email will be sent to the correspondence email address you provided at the point of application.
Completing online registration will take about 15 minutes, and you'll need:
To ensure a smooth registration process, we encourage all students to complete as many of the online enrolment steps as possible before arrival - particularly the Student ID Card section in step two.
However, if you're unable to complete online enrolment prior to your arrival, don't panic. Staff will be on hand at your face-to-face enrolment session to help you through the process and answer any financial queries you may have.
While you're completing online enrolment, you can click on the “?” icons for further guidance about particular sections.
If you're stuck, staff will be on-hand on your arrival day to help you get sorted.

If you've forgotten your password before you've fully completed online enrolment, or think you may have been locked out of your account, please call Digital Services (IT support) on 01785 353800.
After completing online enrolment, most students are required to enrol in person. For more information see our face-to-face enrolment section.
As part of the online enrolment process, you'll be asked to upload a photo of yourself for your Student ID Card.
You're encouraged to complete this step as early as possible so that we can have your Student ID Card ready when you arrive.
You'll be notified of where and when to collect your Student ID Card at your face-to-face-enrolment or through your course area.
You’ll be given your student card when you do face-to-face enrolment. If for some reason it is not ready, provided we have your photo on record, we can produce one while you wait.
All returning students are required to re-enrol online before the start of the new academic year.

The online registration portal will open for returning students approximately two weeks before your course start date.
At this time, you'll be sent an email from the University inviting you to online enrolment. The email will be sent to both your personal and Staffordshire email accounts.
Your Student ID Card can be used year after year - just be sure that your course end date is accurate. If you've taken a break in your studies or repeated a year, you may need a new card. Visit the Student Hub and bring your old card with you for a free replacement.
If your card has been damaged, bring it with you to the Student Hub for a free replacement.
If your card has been lost, you can request a replacement card from the Student Hub or by visiting our Student Card Replacement page.
All international students’ cards are valid for one year. In order to renew your card, you are required at the start of each academic year to undertake a right to study check. This involves you bringing your passport and visa to a specified point for verification by our International Student Support team. Once this check has been completed, you will receive your new student card. Please note that this check must be completed within 4 weeks of the start of term.
