I am a Certified Chartered Accountant and I started my career as a Senior Finance Officer and Audit/Tax consultant in public and private sectors respectively. As a senior finance officer, I prepared and monitored budget (capital and revenue) and the closing of year-end accounts and I provided technical advice to finance and non-finance managers and maintaining good working relationships with the auditors. As audit and tax advisor, I engaged audit procedures to test balances, forensic audit, arranged IR35 checks on contracts and prepared self-assessments, company statutory year-end account CT600s, Inheritance Tax and Capital Tax (e.t.c) with submission to HMRC and tax planning for clients.
I am an external examiner for UK Universities and I teach professional accountancy courses, undergraduate and postgraduate within further and higher education institutions.
