Research, Innovation and Impact Services

I provide administrative support to the Applied Research Centres in the Faculty of Business, Education and Law: the Institute for Education Policy Research (IEPR) and the Centre for Applied Business Research (CABR).

I support the faculty in terms of web authoring, asset management of software and copy editing.

I am one of the university's members of the Forum for Access and Continuing Education (FACE).

Expertise

  • Budget monitoring and forecasting using Oracle Financials and Excel

  • Project administration, including assisting with bids and proposals, liaising with project funders and checking final reports

  • Development and maintenance of web sites using Adobe Dreamweaver and Tridion

  • Course management in terms of maintaining course web pages and application links

  • Organisation of events such as conferences, seminars and symposia

  • Copy editing, layout and typesetting (using Adobe InDesign), and proof reading
