Language Assistant Programme

An amazing opportunity to become a language assistant in Europe. Teach English and work towards TEFL qualification (paid by the programme).

The experience is open to all Staffordshire University students and graduates and places are unlimited.

Travel to host countries is permitted according to the travel rules for England as listed on the UK Government’s website. Further information/guidance can be found on the FCDO webpage for your chosen destination.

All participating students will receive up to date Covid and general travel advice by email and in pre-departure briefing sessions (mandatory attendance).

  • Living Expenses – Apartment rental or similar depends on area, size etc
  • Flights to destination from approximately £200 dependent on time of year and airline
  • Meals
  • Vaccinations – if required
  • Travel Insurance
  • Monthly Stipend up to 1000 Euros per month dependent on school, hours and independent housing option
