This is yet another ringing endorsement for our Apprenticeship provision at Staffordshire University. Last year Ofsted found our provision to be Good across the board and we take immense pride in the fact that we are trailblazers for a number of apprenticeships.

The team responsible for delivering the Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship (ODMA) programme has demonstrated consistently high standards in supporting apprentices to End Point Assessment (EPA).

Staffordshire University is the only university to have been awarded Excellence in EPA delivery for the ODMA and the ratio of distinctions within the overall pass rate was a key consideration for the award.

Course director Tina Allen: “It is rewarding to be recognised for the standard of our apprenticeship provision as well as the significant number of distinction grades achieved at End Point Assessment by Staffordshire University apprentices.

“We endeavour to work with employers at a national level to deliver an outstanding apprenticeship portfolio, to develop apprentices' knowledge, skills and behaviours for their career progression, and also to support their employers to drive economic gain from applying their skills in the workplace.”

Maighread Hegarty, Associate Dean of Apprenticeships, added: “This is yet another ringing endorsement for our Apprenticeship provision at Staffordshire University. Last year Ofsted found our provision to be Good across the board and we take immense pride in the fact that we are trailblazers for a number of apprenticeships.”
