I am a Games Design lecturer with an interest in Game Engines, especially the Unreal Engine. I have industry experience creating Extended Reality training solutions and I have led development teams making training solutions for UK and International Police Forces, Train Operating Companies, Manufacturing firms, Educational Institutions and many more.

I am a Games Designer with a background in gamification and using games technologies for training purposes.

I have BA and MA qualifications in Games Design. During my studies my academic research focused on immersion in games and included using games as simulations for training Police personnel, working alongside researchers and Police forces in Canada.

As a Games Design lecturer I have taught Game Engines, 3D modelling for game assets and environments, visual scripting, digital and analog games design and games contextual studies

Working in industry I led an Extended Reality development team producing Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality solutions for various commercial client training needs. We provided training solutions for multiple UK and International Police forces, FE and HE Educational Institutions, Train Operating Companies, International Manufacturing companies, and many more.
