About Me

Since joining Staffordshire University in 2011, I have been an Award Leader of partnerships based programmes, such as the Foundation Degree in Education, BA Education and Lifelong Learning ESOL and Initial Teacher Training Awards.  I am currently Award Leader for the Post Graduate Certificate in Higher and Professional Education.  These roles have involved successful course development, revalidations and leadership of a diverse range of partnership staff.  My extensive expertise within all education sectors has informed the successful education books which I have co-written.  These are aimed at supporting undergraduate learners from Early Years to Adult learning sectors to improve their practice-based skills through critically informed reflective thinking.  I have gained a Doctorate in Education, with research focusing on evaluating graduate attributes for enhanced employability prospects.
