Associate Professor Martin J. Turner specialises in helping people fulfil their potential under pressure. In this talk, he shares the Smarter Thinking method of stress management, uncovering the simple ways in which we can take charge of how we react to adversity.  In the talk, Martin takes you on a journey back in time to discover how ancient philosophers set the foundations for powerful and effective ways to control our emotions. He also looks into the future and unveils how Smartphone App technology brings these ancient ideas into the 21^st century.
