A brand is an organisation’s most powerful message, establishing a place in the hearts and minds of consumers. Successful brands are recognised, remembered and resonate with the people they want to reach, and shape both the company and the response they receive from their audience.

A brand is the origin of a relationship between customers and a company, with ongoing branding providing credibility and delivering conviction. Branding is a strategic process that direct all marketing channels and ensures a consistency that prompts quick decision making in consumers.

This lecture will explore a variety of branding myths that many organisations still follow, and fail as a result, and will take a deeper look into how to establish key dimensions to optimise a brand’s performance.
