Advanced Materials Lab

The Advanced Materials Lab is part of a suit of facilities that businesses, students and graduates can access through the Innovation Enterprise Zone.

A one-stop shop for all material testing requirements.

Our dedicated Advanced Materials Lab houses an extensive range of specialist equipment that can be used exclusively with the support of an expert technician by businesses, students, and graduates for just £65 per month. Private office space is available for £305 per month if you want to make our Stoke campus your full-time business location. These prices include the opportunity to:

  • access the materials equipment listed below with the support of a technician at no additional cost, 
  • hot desk in a shared office space located in the Mellor Building on the Stoke campus,
  • access other digital, advanced manufacturing, media and maker facilities equipment and facilities in our Innovation Enterprise Zone at a reduced rate, 
  • access fully funded short courses in areas such as leadership, cyber security, digital, entrepreneurship etc.*,
  • build new networks/business contacts,
  • access to on-campus facilities,
  • attend on-campus events.
