Assessment
Your performance on the course will be assessed in a number of ways. For Ethics you’ll be given a series of ethical dilemmas to discuss. For Theory you’ll need to submit an essay comparing two counselling theories.
You’ll be assessed by skills recording and critique of the session. For Personal Development, you’ll give a summary of your journal, reflecting on your developing self-awareness and changes you may have made during the course that inform your developing counsellor role.
You’ll also need to attend at least 80% of the course sessions plus the residential weekend to successfully complete the award.
