Join  CEO of North Staffs YMCA and Honorary Doctor Danny Flynn to learn about Asset Based Thinking (ABT). To look at yourself and the world through the eyes of what is working, what strengths are present, and what the potentials are.

Conversely, deficit-based thinking means to look at yourself and the world in terms of what is not working, what is lacking, and the gaps between where you are and where you want to be. Its focus: Individuals gifts, talents, social and relational capital (humanity)before strategy and structure (machine).  Moves equality, diversity away from external measures to behavioural and internal measures. Flattens power and control and challenges Agency and Professionalism.  Unlocks and affirms the latent talent in all.
