Studying Computer Gameplay Design and Production

Introducing your course leader, Adam Martin

Hi, I’m Adam Martin and I’m the course leader for the BSc (Hons) Computer Gameplay Design and Production course.

I have nearly 20 years of experience teaching games and interactive media. My journey began with a degree in Interactive Arts, leading to a career in CD-ROM development, web design, and Flash games before transitioning into game design and development.

I specialise in game engine technologies, particularly Unreal Engine, combining technical skills with creative approaches to help students push boundaries in their projects. I’m passionate about collaboration and inquiry, fostering an environment where students can explore, experiment, and develop both personally and professionally.
